At KP Customs, we're a team of automotive enthusiasts dedicated to building and customizing the ride of your dreams. Founded by Kenny Patton in 2015, we've been serving the Bowling Green community with top-notch performance and repair services. We're currently in the process of building a new state-of-the-art facility to continue providing the best service to our customers. Let us help you bring your vehicle to the next level.
Our Story
Kenny Patton (KP) started loving cars at an early age and quickly developed a love for taking things apart and seeing how they worked. He found out fast modifying and pushing the limits of things in the automotive world was something he loved. KP has a passion for making vehicles stand out from the rest whether it be in the look of the vehicle or the performance and sound of the engine. In 2013 Kenny Patton Graduated from WKU with a Business Management Degree in hopes of someday opening his own shop.

In early 2015 KP decided after having 10 years in the auto repair field and doing aftermarket and performance work on the side that it was time to pursue his dream. In March of 2015 KP Customs officially opened for business in a small 3000sqft shop located at 5596 Scottsville Road Bowling Green KY. The shop was run by Kenny himself and one employee. After only 2 years in this small shop, we had outgrown our space. We quickly realized we had to make a big move to accommodate the growing business.

In March 2017 KP Customs moved to a 5500 square foot. We adapted for four years until a new opportunity arose in 2021. In 2021 the rental property that we were at changed hands and another 4000 square foot portion of the property became available for rent. We signed a new five-year lease and we developed this new portion as our office and showroom of 1200 square foot which was four times the office space we had before. We also added three more work bays. Unfortunately, in 2022 we were informed of the sale of the property again and the new owners wanted to utilize both locations that we currently occupied. We were never given an opportunity to purchase this property, but we quickly learned this was a blessing in disguise.

Beginning in late 2022 we purchased a piece of property that is directly next door to our current location at 6043 Scottsville Rd. There were several setbacks, but we finally had approval to build a new 14,000 square foot, state of the art facility on this property. There is opportunity for future expansion at this property. Our new location and facility is now open as of Summer of 2023 at 5993 Scottsville Rd. Bowling Green, KY. We look forward to a lifetime of doing what we love-making our customers dream rides come to life right here in our hometown.
